I won twice with Amazon Giveaways

So, this is going to be my post about my personal experience with winning Amazon Giveaways. 

At first, I was excited to see giveaways on Amazon, but also skeptical about winning. The odds of winning were slim, but in the back of my mind, I just had to try and see for myself.

My first time winning a prize was in December 2017. I won 2 splash-proof lids for 20 oz tumblers and 2 steel straws. 

Before winning my first prize, I entered many giveaways for about a month and a half. I would just enter whenever I had a free time or was bored. Now, I know the prize is not as grand as some of the other prizes, but hey, at least it was something and I was really excited. 

The shipping was fast and quick. It came within 5 business days.

Honestly, I really never used the lids, since it doesn't fit with any of my tumblers or cups. However, I did use the steel straws many times as an alternative to plastic straws. 

After winning the first prize, I was trying to enter as many giveaways as possible. I felt like I had a good chance of winning again, but nothing happened. After a while, I would only enter the giveaways once a week. It honestly wasn't worth my time. 

Now fast forward to 10 months, I won my second prize within a few minutes of opening the Amazon app. 

And again, the prize wasn't anything interesting. It was a month supply of turmeric supplements. I don't think I need the supplements, so I'll give it to my mom. 

All in all, there is a possibility of winning an Amazon giveaway, but keep in mind, those chances are very small. Don't go entering with hopes of winning. Just play whenever you have free time, and you'll never know if you get lucky and might win! Good luck everybody!
